As a Front Desk Receptionist/Chiropractic Assistant, you are the face of the organization. We are seeking people who have a pleasant demeanor, excellent customer service skills, a good attitude and who are skilled in handling a wide array of duties and competing priorities. The ability to communicate, work with computer software, stand for long periods of time, handle patient education, assist with physical modalities and attention to detail is required. Due to the nature of working in healthcare, maintaining a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality are crucial.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
· Greet patients on arrival and handle check-in and check-out functions.
· Collect necessary new patient or updated health forms from patients.
· Answer phones.
· Appointment scheduling, confirmations and follow up on missed appointments.
· Handle insurance verification and follow up on claim submittals if needed.
· Collect payments, follow up on aged receivables and declined payments.
· Prepare for the day’s appointments.
· Assist in scheduling for other services that may be recommended as part of the treatment plan.
· Run balanced daily, weekly and biweekly reports as required.
· Administering of modalities and treatments as outlined in the treatment plan.
· Educate patients on the proper way to complete exercises and use equipment.
· Attend required daily/weekly meetings.
· Complete compliance training.
·Assist the chiropractor in the back office with patients.
Qualifications:

  • Passion for helping others to improve the quality of their lives.
  • Passion for working with children and having an upbeat personality.
  • Highly motivated and a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Must enjoy talking with people and keeping patients' health information confidential.
  • Ability to walk, squat, lift up to 30 pounds, and physically assist others.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English. Bilingual communication is a plus, but not required.
  • Ability to use a computer and medical office software.
Full-Time (32-34 hours)
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday: 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., 1:30 p.m. - 6:15 p.m.
Thursday: 1:30 p.m. - 6:15 p.m. (team meeting at 12:00 p.m.)
Friday: 8:30 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.
Saturday: Marketing Events (occasionally)
