DESCRIPTION:Membership Meeting Virtually\n\n\n\nSign up to attend virtually the February's monthly membership meeting on February 17 \n\nfrom 11 am to NOON. \n\nDue to the presenters' availability we are having the meeting first.\n\nPresenters are:  Dr. Monte Johnson and Pharmacist Adam Bakken.  They will have a short update presentation on Covid-19 vaccinations and then can open it up for questions.  \n\n  Do you have a question\, please send to us prior.\n\n\n\nLunches will be delivered by 2021 Board Members\, Ambassadors and other volunteers.\n\nSign up your whole staff.\n\n\n\nPresenters: \n\nDr. Monte Johnson- \n\n\n\nMonte is passionate about patients and providing them with the highest quality of care available. Great doctors like to work with other great doctors and Monte believes this is certainly the culture reflected at St. Francis. In his leadership role\, he works with strategic initiatives\, the quality and safety department and the hospital's medical staff. In addition\, he serves as the Allina Utilization Management Medical Director. Dr. Johnson also provides patient care as a hospitalist at St. Francis. He earned his medical degree from the University of Minnesota and completed his residency at Methodist Hospital. With over 23 years of medical experience\, he is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians\, Minnesota Academy of Family Physicians and American College of Physician Advisors. Monte enjoys wake surfing\, fishing and skiing. He and his family live in Victoria.\n\nPharmacist Adam Bakken\n\nDr. Adam Bakken\, PharmD.\, graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Leadership Emphasis. In his career he has worked as a Clinical Pharmacist with emphases in Oncology\, Mental Health\, and Investigational Drug Studies. Transitioning to leadership he supervised a team at Level 1 Trauma center\, North Memorial Medical Center. He is now the Pharmacy Manager at St. Francis Regional Medical Center is Shakopee\, MN leading a team of highly skilled clinical professionals that deliver exceptional care for their hospital and community. He is the Past-President of the Central Minnesota Society of Health System Pharmacists and is passionate in supporting his patients\, profession\, and community. \n\n \n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLunch Options:\n\n1.
