DESCRIPTION:Prior Lake Chamber Of Commerce\n\nDick Underferth Humanitarian Award\n\n \n\nOn January 14th\, 2000\, Dick Underferth\, a longtime\, active community member of Prior Lake\, passed away at the age of 53. Dick's relationship to the community was the following: he served as the Director of Development at the Cap Agency\, a Scott County Commissioner\, the Prior Lake Development Authority\, past President of  the Prior Lake Chamber of Commerce\, a Prior Lake Rotarian\, a member of the Prior Lake American Legion\, and an active member of the Shepherd of the Lake Lutheran Church. In 2001\, in memory of Dick's lifelong history to service in the community\, the Prior Lake Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors elected to provide a $500 award to one member of the Prior Lake High School graduating class who best displays themselves in community involvement.  \n\n \n\nAward Amount: Prior Lake Chamber of Commerce will be awarding TWO $500 awards\n\n \n\nRequirements: Applicant must be a senior at any high school\, with a home address of Prior Lake and provide an essay on their commitment and involvement to the Prior Lake Community.
